Corrimal Healthcare Centre is a busy medical practice in the heart of Corrimal with 3 full time doctors and a GP registrar at GPT1. The practice has a position open for a GP registrar or a Non VR General Practitioner requiring level 1 supervision, for 38 hours / week. The Non-VR GP will enjoy support from other GPs, the reception staff at the practice and allied health service providers.

The annual salary for this full-time position is $88,720 as per the NTCER at the level of GPT1.

Skills and Experience:

• conducting examinations and questioning patients to determine the nature of disorders and illnesses, and recording patients’ medical information
• ordering laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures, and interpreting findings to assist in diagnosis
• providing overall care for patients, and prescribing and administering treatments, medications and other remedial measures
• monitoring patients’ progress and response to treatment
• advising on diet, exercise and other habits which aid prevention and treatment of disease and disorders
• referring patients to, and exchanging medical information with, specialist Medical Practitioners
• reporting births, deaths and notifiable diseases to government authorities
• arranging the admission of patients to hospitals

Hi, we are a busy medical practice in the heart of Corrimal with 3 full time doctors. The practice has a position open for a Registered Nurse, for 38 hours / week. The nurse will enjoy support from the GPs, the reception staff at the practice and allied health service providers, and have an opportunity to work autonomously. All necessary training and support will be provided on the job. The nurse will be a part of a really dynamic team and will be expected to povide excellent care to the patients of this practice.

Skills and Experience:

• be actively involved in establishing Chronic Disease Management plans
• do childhood immunisations as advised by the GP
• do regular vaccinations and injections as required
• regular wound dressings
• assisting the doctors in minor surgical procedures and other procedures
• providing overall care for patients, and administering treatments, medications and other remedial measures
• advising on diet, exercise and other habits which aid prevention of disease and disorders
• keeping registration up to date with AHPRA
• participating in regular training and continuation of professional development
